Both couries offer permane residence routes, but there are importa differences.

Australia calls for applicas to have an independe visa (Skilled Independe Visa) to be 5 years or less (with some exceptions). In corast, Canada mainly has no age restrictions.

Canada prioritizes people with Canadian work experience and education. The Canadian Experience Program (CEC) is one of the most popular federal programs for the skilled workforce that has experience in Canada. But although Australia pois to Australian education and work experience, it has no program similar to CEC.

Australia’s permane residence routes are strongly depende on the list of skilled jobs (SOL) that focuses on certain specific jobs (such as STEM -related jobs or engineering and mathematics). Express Ery is an online system for managing skilled workers’ migration requests to Canada. The Canadian Experience Program (CEC) is a popular path for iernational studes. Applicas for this program must have at least 5 years of skilled work experience in Canada (full -time or part -time) in the past 5 years.

Through PNP programs, Canadian provinces and territories, and according to their needs, they nominate qualified applicas for permane residence. Successful applicas receive a provincial nomination. With a provincial nomination, the chances of applying for permane residence through the Express Ery system or out -of -Express Ery Immigration programs are increased.

Visa for Independe Skilled Labor (Subclass 2) is a score -based visa for a skilled workforce that is evaluated based on factors such as age, education, work experience and English language skills.

Applicas must have a qualified work experience (their job is in the list of skilled jobs) and evaluate their qualifications by an Australian eity before submitting an Expression of Ierest (EOI) request through Skillselect. Applicas who have an Australian degree or have an Australian work experience receives additional privileges, which is a good advaage for iernational graduates.

Visa for skilled labor in (temporary) (Subclass 2) is a score -based visa for a skilled labor that was to live and work in various Australian areas. Applicas must be nominated by a state/territory governme or supported by a qualified person and their job must be in the releva skilled job list. Scores are also awarded based on age, education, work experience and English language skills. This visa is valid for five years and is provided with permane residence, after meeting specific conditions through a permane residence visa (regional skilled labor).
