
Nafiseh Naimipour, a promine figure in promoting science and astronomy education in Iran, died. Since the 1970s, he has been active in astronomy and promotion of science and has been able to increase public ierest in science with his efforts.
He was also active in IRIB, and as a scieific expert in programs such as Golden Ratio (1/4), he explained the search engine and wheel of scieific concepts in a simple and attractive language for the audience.
This promoter devoted his career to teaching and promoting science and translating books such as “Family Scieific Experimes”, “Escape”, “Exploring the Moh”, “Sunshine” and “Gia Bubbles”.
Naimipour led the Milad Tower Astronomical Club in Tehran and converted to one of the ceers of astronomy by holding eves such as “Astronomy Day” and “Astronomy Week”. His presence at the Discovery Square eve in the Book Garden, along with Siavash Saffarianpour and Pejman Norouzi, created a space so that families could closely see scieific experimes and get acquaied with the wonders of science. In year 2, he was awarded the Lights Prize in the “Promotion of the Science of the Year”, which was appreciated by the scieific community for its coinuous efforts to promote science and astronomy.
