Qatar’s Foreign Minister Majid al -Ansari said: “The Qatari Foreign Minister participated in the al -Almin meeting on Gaza. Qatar and Egypt received Hamas’s response to the Gaza ceasefire proposal.

A Qatar Foreign Ministry spokesman said the Zionist regime has not yet responded to Hamas’s agreeme with a ceasefire proposal.

“There is no time deadline, but we have heard that Israel is investigating the matter and we hope it has a quick and positive response,” he said. The proposal that Hamas has agreed to largely comply with what Israel has previously agreed.

“There is no real guaraee in practice except the commitme of both parties to impleme the agreeme,” said al -Ansari. Qatar’s foreign minister is consulting with an American envoy and space is positive. We hope that an agreeme will be reached and if it happens it will have to be implemeed very quickly. Our goal is to quickly reach a ceasefire in Gaza.

He added: “We are eager for the ceasefire in every way and we are working to reach a complete agreeme.”
