Yuri Oshakov, a Kremlin adviser, says Russian Preside Vladimir Putin and his US couerpart Donald Trump will begin at 9:50 am Alaska (9:50 Moscow time/ 9pm).
According to him, the meeting will begin with Putin and Trump’s bilateral conversation in the presence of translators, and then talks with the two couries‘ delegations will coinue.
Responding to a question about the duration of the meeting, he said that it depends on how the conversations progressed. The main issue will be the Ukrainian crisis resolution.
Other issues, including bilateral economic cooperation and global security issues, will also be raised at the meeting, according to Oshakov.
On behalf of Russia, Secretary of State Sergei Lavrov, Defense Minister Andrey Silvanov, Minister of Finance, Krill Dimitrif, Chief of the Russian Direct Investme Fund, and Putin’s adviser Oshakov will participate in tomorrow’s talks.
