The National Science Foundation, in collaboration with the Innovation and Development Fund, held the third joint call for “Deep Research Program in propulsion technologies” in August. With the approach of supporting the research needed by knowledge -based companies, the program provides the basis for the production of new generation products and the development of complex technologies.
In this call, all types of knowledge -based companies that intend to delegate their research needs to scientific institution researchers can participate. The financial support of the program will be awarded to selected researchers by the National Foundation for Science and Applicants.
In the country’s technology ecosystem, product support is common in the final stages of technological maturity; But the program operates in the early stages of the technology chain to cover the risk of deeper and deeper research to enter the sophisticated and future generation of high -innovation products by technology and innovation companies.
The call consists of two types of research and technology demand: ordinary demands made by companies and priority demands appointed by the National Foundation of Science and Innovation Fund in collaboration with the Vice President of Science and the Presidential Transformation and Progress Center.
The priority areas of this call include software and artificial intelligence, nanotechnology and micro, biological, chemical and energy, hardware and machinery and medical engineering, described in detail in the call.
Applicant knowledge -based companies must submit their requests only through the Kyper system and load draft forms from this system and upload after completion. Requests that are approved after the Arbitration Committee will be eligible to receive support.
Finally, the support of the National Foundation of Science is paid up to 2 billion tomans competitively for 2 projects, and the Innovation and Blossom Fund will provide up to 5 % of the project costs. Implementation of projects is usually between 2 and 6 months, which can be increased by up to 6 months.
