The Zarangoush Strait is one of the most beautiful and high tourist attractions in Badra city in Ilam province. This gorge, about two kilometers long and 2 meters high walls, exhibits a spectacular view of the mountainous nature of western Iran. Along the way to the Zarangoush Strait, there is a flowing river that, along with natural waterfalls, tall trees and the presence of stone paths, has made this place a popular destination for nature, hiking and photography.

The Zarangoush Valley Strait has a high vegetable and animal diversity. Among the medicinal plants of this gorge can be mint and pone, whose smell is well smell throughout the route. The “Gorge of Kafrin”, “The Strait of the Kafiri” or “The Strait of Aradad”, is located in the heart of the ardent Zagros Mountains, near the city of Badra.
