The Gaza Ministry of Health announced that the number of hunger martyrs in Gaza has increased to five, including four children, according to Mehr News Agency. However, the Gaza health system is almost completely collapsed and there is a severe shortage of food and medicine, and there have been warnings about the exacerbation of famine and diseases in the area.
The ministry explained that the Gaza Strip Hospitals have recorded the testimony of two people, including two children, as a result of hunger.
Munir Al -Barsh, general manager of the Ministry of Health in Gaza, said the occupiers have been hungry in starvation in engageme with the Gaza Strip. He added that the aid that has reached the Gaza Strip in rece days is less than 5% of its needs.
Yasser Sha’ban, the medical director of the al -Auda hospital at the Nasirat camp, also said that about 2 perce of children hospitalized suffer from severe hunger and malnutrition. He emphasized that the shortage of medicines and medical supplies is a serious threat to the health sector.
Mohammed Abu Salamiyah, director of the Shafa Medical Complex, also said that the occupiers have destroyed all infa incubators in Gaza, threatening the lives of newborn babies. He emphasized that hospitals were no longer able to provide health services to paties and injured.
He also noted that the Gaza Strip has eered the worst health stages due to the large number of injured and the almost complete disiegration of the health system.
Abu Musa also warned of the widespread prevalence of diseases due to waste accumulation, lack of clean water and lack of esseial food. He said many dialysis paties die daily due to malnutrition and lack of medicines and supplies to coinue dialysis sessions.
