Colonel Javad Khodamradadi, commander of the Hamedan Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts Directorate, announced the seizure of four pieces of historical objects related to the Middle Ages and the arrest of three illegal excavations in the world of Hegmataneh, saying:
The individuals, who had been drilling unauthorized with their own identity and covering their trade unions, were identified and arrested in a coordinated operation with the vigilance of the Cultural Heritage Conservation Forces and effective cooperation with the Sheriff’s Office.
He added.
Following a popular report of suspicious activities in one of the world’s world -class trade unions, the matter was quickly on the agenda of the Protection Unit, and after conducting field monitoring and initial investigations, it was found that three people had excavated unauthorized excavations under the pretext of restoring the shop.
Colonel Khadamradi, referring to the legal steps taken in the operation, stated:
In coordination with the judiciary and obtaining the judiciary, the arrest operation was successfully carried out and seized two pieces of historical objects from the Middle Islamic period, including the Seljuk and Ilkhanid era.
He said.
The defendants were handed over to the relevant authorities after arrest for legal proceedings, and further investigations into the angles of the case are ongoing.
