Holding the Eighth Men’s Health Congress with the aim of promoting international cooperation – | Iranian and world news

The 8th Men’s Health Congress, focusing on promoting men’s health, will be held by the Men’s Health Research Center of Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences, according to the Ministry of Health and Medical Education.

The issue of promotion and attention to men’s health, for the first time in 2008, was proposed as one of the strategic priorities of the country’s health system with the support of the Iranian Organic Association and with the support of the Office of Family Health and the Ministry of Health. Since then, the National Men’s Health Week is held every year in March to attract policymakers, experts and the general public to take an effective step in prevention, diagnosis and treatment of common diseases among men.

Following this national scientific and national movement, over the past decade, specialized men’s health congresses have also been on the agenda. These congresses, with the participation of university professors, health officials, researchers and representatives of national and international organizations, have provided a good opportunity to exchange knowledge, introduce scientific achievements, and examine the challenges and strategies of promoting men’s health.

In this regard, the Men’s Health Research Center was established in 2008 and has been continually active in the development of research, designing scientific programs and the production of specialized knowledge since then. Also, the publication of the Men’s Health Magazine has also played an important role in national, regional and global development in order to publish the latest scientific findings in this field.

One of the most important achievements of the center is: • Active cooperation with the World Health Organization (WHO) in formulating men’s health packages in the primary health care system (PHC) • Concluding a scientific exchanges with the University of Turin Italy • Implementation of the Specialist Registry Registry Registry Registry Registry Project that has succeeded in a success

This year, on the sidelines of the 8th Men’s Health Congress, the representative of the World Health Organization in Iran will examine the performance and achievements of the Men’s Health Research Center of Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences. The aim of expanding joint cooperation and utilizing the successful experiences of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the field of men’s health at the regional and international level.

The Ministry of Health’s educational deputy, while supporting this scientific event, emphasizes the continuation of international cooperation, the production of indigenous knowledge and the utilization of educational capacities to promote men’s health.
