A spokesman for the Thai governme said the prime minister and his Cambodian couerpart today are negotiating with US mediation today to end the deadly clashes, according to the Mehr News Agency.

According to Thai governme spokesman Jiraio Hongsub, Potham Vichayyachai, the ierim prime minister and Han Maet, will meet with Cambodia’s couerpart today at 9pm local time.

The meeting will be held at the office of Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim as a periodic head of the Southeast Asian Union (ASA).

The first negotiations of the parties have been held since the start of the clashes on July 9, two hours after US Preside Donald Trump’s claim to agree to Thailand and Cambodia leaders to resolve tension and immediate access to the ceasefire.

After a separate conversation with the prime ministers of the two couries, Trump threatened that Washington would not eer io business negotiations as long as the clashes coinued.
