Following a re -military clash between Bangkok and Pneumpen, the Thai army announced the injured of three civilians in the Cambodian rocket attack, Mehr News Agency reported.

Thailand and Cambodia are involved in a border area called the “emerald triangle”; The border between the two couries, along with Laos, is crossing the area and has several ancie temples in their hearts.

The conflict has been going on for decades, leading to bloody military clashes more than 5 years ago and then in May. The latest wave of clashes on the sides of the morning has begun near two border temples between Surin province and Cambodia.

Cambodian Defense Ministry spokesman Malai Sochiata said in a stateme that “the Thai military has violated the territorial iegrity of the King of Cambodia through armed attack on the coury’s forces. “The Cambodian Armed Forces used the legitimate right to defend themselves and fully in accordance with iernational law to withdraw the Thai aggression and protect Cambodia’s sovereigy and territorial iegrity.”

On the other hand, the Thai army blamed Cambodia’s troops for the initial shooting and then accused them of targeted attacks against civilians.

The new wave of violence came hours after Thailand fired Cambodian ambassador and called on Cambodia to protest the wounding of five Thai military patrol convoys following the mine explosion.
