The best time to visit the Noshahr Strait is the warm months of the year, from mid -June to early October. During this time, the air is usually sunny and stable with temperate temperatures, and the depth of water in the gorge is so easy to navigate the river route.

In the spring, the depth of the water may be high, and frequent rainfall increases the risk of slippery and rising water, making it difficult and dangerous. Early in the morning from Tehran to the village of Kashk Sara to have enough time to tour the gorge and the surrounding nature. After reaching the village parking lot, pay the entrance and car park in the right place, wear the right shoes.

The gorge access route from the Kirkrod River is about 1.5 km; So on the round trip you should be prepared for three to four kilometers of water. The beginning of the river is almost shallow and the water eventually reaches the knee.

As the walls become narrower, the depth of the river will increase. To cross the deep parts, it is best to move with the group and use the rope in dangerous parts. Route access to the gorge from Tehran: To start moving from Tehran, you can go to Chalus Road on the Tehran-Karaj highway. About eight kilometers before Noshahr, enter the narrow road of Keshaxra.
