The deputy head of the Fars Governorate’s Tourism and Pilgrimage Coordination Departme said that the best sky for observation is in Chile, adding that Chile hosts astronomers from all over the world in addition to creating the farming telescopes that send data received to differe couries.
Parsai emphasized that the sky of Fars province resembles Chile in terms of astronomical characteristics.
Poiing out that the geographical location of northern Fars province has good conditions for the establishme of astronomical bases, he coinued: Fars province has a proper geographical location and scieific and historical possessions such as Abdul Rahman Sufi and can be the ceer of Iranian astronomical heritage.
The deputy head of the Fars Governorate’s Tourism and Pilgrimage Coordination Departme said that the atteion to the field of astronomy was effective in realizing sustainable developme and stated: The conditions and standards of creating dark sky park will strengthen the compones of sustainable developme and economic strengthening of the region by relying on indigenous capacities.
