Mehr News Agency quoted Al -ArabiyaDimitri PeskovA Kremlin spokesman, in response to CNN’s report on having an audio file attributed to US President Donald Trump, threatening Moscow, said Moscow was not confident of the “credibility” of the file.
CNN announced that Trump said during a meeting with his sponsors in 2008 that he had previously tried to prevent Russia from attacking Ukraine by threatening to bomb.
Peskov In this regard, he said, “Fake multiplication (files) are often more than real information and therefore it is unclear whether this audio file is valid; “There was no conversation at the time, we were talking about a period when Trump had not yet been president.”
A spokesman for the Kremlin also said about Trump’s recent rhetoric and changing his tone towards Moscow that “he (Trump) is known for the use of sharp phrases, but the Kremlin is quite calmly.”
According to him, there is no theoretical difference between Russia and the United States about the Ukrainian war, and “the parties tend to resolve the issue through political and diplomatic tools and do so quickly.”
