According to RCO News Agency, the annual Journal Citation Reports (JCR 2) report was published by the Clarivate Analytics Institute. This report coains citation information and ranking more than 6,000 scieific journals from 5 couries in the topic. There are five Iranian journals, including five specialized magazines in the field of nanotechnology.
At the top of the list of 5 Iranian magazines, the Journal of Nanostructor in Chemistry is affected by the Islamic Azad University of Holy Branch with an impact of 1.2. This journal is classified io three subject areas in the first (Q1):
- Nanoscience and Nanotechnology: Rank 2 out of 1
- Chemistry, Multidiscipline: Rank 2 out of 1
- Materials Science, Multidiscipline: Rank 1 out of 1
The other four Iranian publications in the field of nanotechnology in the JCR 2 list are:
- Iernational Nano Letters with an impact coefficie of 2.3 (Islamic Azad University of Kermanshah)
- Nanomedicine Journal with an impact coefficie of 4.1 (Mashhad University of Medical Sciences)
- Journal of Nanostructures with an impact coefficie of 1.2 (Kashan University)
- Iernational Journal of Nano Dimension with an impact coefficie of 1.2 (Islamic Azad University of Tonekabon)
The gradual progress of the Iranian Nano Magazines, along with the efforts of editors and researchers, has been implemeed by the Nanotechnology and Micro Technology Developme Staff by the implemeation of the Nanotechnology Developme Plan. The project, aims to promote the scieific and iernational level of nano publications in the coury, has the following services:
- Specialized training and advice for editorial teams;
- Improveme of standard scieific publishing indicators;
- Financial support of the articles published in selected journals;
It should be noted that out of the five specialized nanotechnology magazines in the coury, so far, four magazines have been indexed on the Scopus Iernational Database, of which four have succeeded in earning an impact.
