The ancie ship discovered off the coast of Adrasan, Türkiye, holds a cargo of ceramic objects. The ship, which is about 2 meters deep, includes a large number of bowls, plates and jars, all of which are iact and remain in their original place.
According to the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the ceramic works have been covered in a way that preserves their fine details and beautiful decorations; Even after more than 2.5 years in the seafood.
The discovery provides an unprecedeed opportunity to study the trade and consumer goods of ancie Roman era, especially from the perspective of mass production and packaging.

The drilling of the ship is part of the four -year “Heritage for the Future” project aimed at mapping and documeing Turkish archaeological heritage. There have This reflects the extensive and active trade route in the Turkish Mediterranean.
According to the Minister of Culture, Mohammad Nouri Arsawi, these works are currely kept in regional laboratories in Türkiye’s restoration and protection. He emphasized that every drowning ship will open a new window.
Some of the healthy objects discovered on the ship are set to be exhibited in a new museum focusing on underwater archeology in the Improvius area.
