In addition, Manuel Risco emphasized that Latin American couries should be strengthened by strengthening regional cooperation in groups such as Mercosur (South American joi market), The community of Latin American couries and the Caribbean (CALAC) and the South American Union to increase their ieraction with Brix and other groups in the South.
Referring to global challenges, including climate change and the technological revolution, he called for the creation of extensive regional areas with the possibility of free traffic, services and manpower under the supervision of transnational institutions.
Risco added: In these areas, systems must be established for justice, customs, taxes, education, science and security. Most importaly, couries need to recover their own ownership and corol of their natural resources and to extract these resources to state -owned companies or governme corol; The action is being implemeed in accordance with UN resolutions and currely in more than 5 % of the world’s hydrocarbon extraction projects.
At the end of the meeting, the participas emphasized that Chile’s poteial joining Brix is not just an economic decision, but a strategic choice about its position in the new world order.
