Spain: Gaza is “catastrophic genocide” – Mehr News Agency | Iranian and world news

According to RCO News Agency quoting Algeria, Pedro Prior to the EU summit in Brussels, Spanish Prime Minister Sanchez described the situation as “catastrophic genocide” and called for an immediate suspension of EU cooperation with Israel.

Accordingly, Sanchez poied to a report from the European Union that has found signs of Israel’s human rights obligations violated by cooperation with the block – which is the basis of trade relations.

This is the strongest condemnation ever by Sanchez, which has previously been an explicit critics of Israeli invasion of Gaza.

Meanwhile, the Zionist Embassy in Madrid released a stateme on the X -Social Network (former Twitter) to accuse Sanchez of “Israel’s devilishness” and said Spain stands in the wrong way of history.

In response, the Spanish governme called the stateme unacceptable and summoned the Zionist embassy official.

This diplomatic tension shows the depth of increasing differences between Spain and the Zionist regime as iernational pressure has increased. Sanchez’s remarks will probably exacerbate discussions on the suspension of EU trade agreemes with Israel.
