At 4:50 am on Thursday, June 6, a fire was reported to a system in a carpeer market in Naqshjan Square. The shop was located in one of the old passages in the historic inn and adjace to the southeastern side of the Imam Mosque, which doubled the sensitivity of the matter and the subject was put on the agenda with a special priority.
He added.
The fire first began from the Messenger’s shop, approximately 2 m 2, and then spread to the adjace shop with a brush use. Due to the risk of fire expansion to other trade unions and historical structures, operational teams from stations 1, 2, 2 and 2 were dispatched to the scene.
A spokesman for the Isfahan Municipality Fire and Safety Services coinued:
The operation was carried out under the command of the time, with the presence of the Crisis Officers of Hassanzadeh, along with the cooperation of the Isfahan Municipality Crisis Manageme, and fortunately with the rapid reaction of the operational forces, the fire was immediately restrained and widespread damage to the historical coext.
Shariati emphasized the importance of protecting the city’s historical heritage:
In such sensitive areas, any incide can have irreparable consequences. Fortunately, this time a widespread catastrophe was preveed by the timely action of firefighters.
A spokesman for the Isfahan Municipality Fire and Safety Services urged businessmen, citizens and business officials to play an effective role in preveing similar accides by adhering to safety principles.
