The German intelligence chief claims about Russian plans against NATO

In an ierview with Table Media, Bruno Call, the head of the German Foreign Ielligence Agency, said Russia was to test the NATO coalition’s determination, including opposing the West across the Ukrainian borders.

According to Reuters, the head of the German Federal Ielligence Service said the organization has obtained ielligence signs that Russian officials believe that the principle of mass defense set up in the North Atlaic Treaty Organization (NATO) treaty is no longer powerful.

“We are relatively confide and we have information showing that Ukraine is just one step to travel to the west,” Bruno Cal said. It does not mean that we expect the tanks to move west. “But we see that NATO’s promise for mass defense is being tested.”

Germany, now the second major supporter of Ukraine’s weapons and financial weapons in the war with Russia, has pledged to exacerbate these supports under the new Governme of Germany, Friedrich Merts, the new German Chancellor. Berlin has also promised to help Ukraine produce new missiles capable of attacking depths of Russian soil.

Bruno Cal claims that Russian officials seek less than one level of full -fledged military conflict that test the actual US commitme to the NATO members’ mutual assistance under Article Five of the NATO Statute on “collective defense”.

“They do not need to send tanks to do so,” he said. “They just need to send their unprotected soldiers to Estonia to protect the Russian minorities that have been suppressed by default.”

The German ielligence official did not meion which official in Moscow was looking for this alleged plan.

Friedrich Merts, who met with US Preside Donald Trump a few days ago, criticized the rece coroversial assessme of US preside and Russia as “as four children fighting each other”, but said US governme officials “take as much as we threaten Russia.”
