Yermak: Zelnski is looking for a meeting with Trump on the sidelines of Group 2 Summit

According to the American Journal of Paltiko, Andrey Yermak, head of the Waldimir Zelkski office, says the Ukrainian preside is working to coordinate another meeting with Donald Trump, his US couerpart on the sidelines of the G20 summit in Canada.

According to the American newspaper, Yermak said in an ierview with Ukraine National TV a few days ago a Ukrainian delegation to Washington, DC was to prepare for another poteial meeting between Trump and Zelnski at the Group Seven Summit in Canada, Canada.

“Our journey to the preparations, including for another meeting between Waldimir Zelnski and Donald Trump, was on the sidelines of the Group Seven Summit, which is being held in Canada for another 7 days,” Yermak said. “This was an importa step in preparing this conversation.”

The official close to Zelnski said a delegation of Ukrainian officials in Washington also had talks on coinuing military assistance to Ukraine.

“There is a common understanding on this issue,” Yermak added. It is necessary for us to coinue. Ukrainian Preside Zelkski clearly described our position; “We are ready to buy some equipme, especially missile defense systems, according to the economic cooperation agreeme we signed.”

According to the US newspaper, the Ukrainian delegation’s visit to Washington came as US lawmakers are investigating a new package of widespread sanctions against Russia and its largest energy customers. The delegation visited Lindsi Graham, Republican Senator and US Democratic Senator Richard Bluemotal, who is the leader of the Senate’s five -party bill on the subject of severe tariffs on Russian energy -buying couries.

“The process that needs to start in the US Senate for a few days will send a very importa signal – because everyone knows what it is about,” Yermak said. “Its goal is to clearly reduce Russian revenues from the discussion of energy exports primarily.”

Zelksky, who had a strong meeting with Trump and his deputy, JD Venus last February, recely reacted to a coroversial US preside’s stateme that the Ukrainian and Russian war is like a “young child” war.

In an ierview with an ABC network, Preside Ukraine said, “We are not playing children on the field in the park”: “It’s not about Trump; “It is about anyone who is not here in our coury and cannot completely feel and understand this suffering.”
