The world this week witnessed a variety of eves of faith, culture and tradition. The focus of atteion was paid to the holy city of Mecca; Where millions of Muslims performed the rituals of the Hajj. At the same time, Eid al -Adha was celebrated around the world with its own traditions.
Beyond religious eves, other cultural and social scenes took place around the world. In India, the Tibetals gathered to pray for their spiritual leader, “Dalai Lama”, and in the Vatican city, pilgrims from Mexico waited for the Pope. In Indonesia, the people of Pancasila celebrated the symbol of national unity. This day is the celebration of Indonesia’s national ideology, which is based on the five principles of belief in the unique God, just and civilized, national unity, democracy based on people’s represeatives and social justice for all people.
The Sengambia Festival in Senegambia (the border friendship celebration between Senegal and Gambia) exhibited the cultural similarities and cultural differences of neighboring couries.
