Hamedan Health Tourism Conference hosted by Hamadan

The Third International Confederation of Health Tourism of ECO member states will be held from June 1-8 with several events and exhibitions hosted by Hamadan.

Anoushirvan Mohseni Bandpi, Deputy Director of Tourism in the country, pointed out the importance of health tourism:

One of the capacities of Hamadan province is medicinal plants and there are 5 species of medicinal plants in Hamadan. The presence of Bu Ali Sina in Hamedan province also shows the historical attachment of the medical issue in Hamadan. In the field of medical facilities, for example, Hamedan is one of the major kidney transplant centers and hosts health tourists from Iraq.
