The Hamas moveme welcomed the new Qatar -Egyptian efforts to mediate and reach a ceasefire in Gaza, according to Mehr News Agency.

Accordingly, a stateme released by the moveme said: “We are ready to immediately eer a new round of indirect negotiations to reach an agreeme on the permane ceasefire and the complete withdrawal of the occupation forces.”

Qatar and Egypt also said in a joi stateme that in coordination with the United States, they iend to exacerbate their efforts to remove the barriers to the negotiations.

The two couries also said their goal was to quickly reach a 4 -day temporary ceasefire that could pave the way for a permane ceasefire agreeme in the Gaza Strip.

The statemes come as the human situation in Gaza is critical and iernational pressure to stop the war and open the path of humanitarian aid is increasing.

The Hamas moveme insists that any agreeme with the Zionist enemy should lead to the permane end of the war in Gaza. However, Netanyahu’s extremist cabinet says that only Hamas is ready to agree and the release of Zionist prisoners, and after the release of the captives, he will coinue the war in Gaza.
