Accordingly, the Canadian Prime Minister’s Office issued a stateme that Mark Carnery had spoken with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman on Thursday.

“The leaders of the two couries discussed energy security and bilateral trade developme,” the stateme said. “They also emphasized the necessity of achieving lasting peace in the Middle East.”

The expansion of bilateral relations and economic cooperation were other main axes of the two parties.
