White House: Israel has agreed to offer a ceasefire in Gaza

White House spokesman Caroline Lewat said in a press conference Thursday in response to a question about the acceptance of a six -day ceasefire by Zionist Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu: “The special envoy of Witcaf and President Trump has offered a ceasefire offered.”

“Israel agreed to Hamas before sending the proposal,” he said. These talks continue. “We hope to reach a ceasefire in Gaza so that the captives will return to their home.”

Responding to a question about Hamas’s agreement with the proposal, Lewat said: “I don’t know. “If new information is released, you will hear directly from me, or President Trump or the Special Envoy of Witcaf.”

US media reported on Thursday that Zionist Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told Zionist prisoners that the regime is ready to move to a ceasefire and release agreement under the new White House’s Steven Witcaf plan.

The Axius website also quoted another source as saying that Hamas was not satisfied with the new Witcaf design and believes the plan has changed in favor of the Zionist regime.

The media also quoted the source as saying that the new plan does not include a clear US guarantee that the temporary ceasefire would lead to a permanent ceasefire.

The Witcaf’s plan also does not guarantee that if the talks continue for more than 5 days, the ceasefire will continue, and the Zionist regime will not be able to unilaterally violate it as March.

Meanwhile, the Hamas Islamic Resistance Movement said in a statement yesterday that the movement recently agreed to the Witcaf plan over a general framework that leads to a sustainable ceasefire, the full departure of Zionist troops from the Gaza Strip and import aid to the area.

Hamas also announced today that it has received the Witcaf design and is responsiblely examined in a way that is in the interests of the Palestinian people, provides aid and leads to a permanent ceasefire in Gaza.

In another part of his News conference, referring to the ongoing war in Ukraine and US President Donald Trump’s two -week opportunity to Russian President Vladimir Putin: “In the next six weeks, Russian and Ukrainian officials in Istanbul will meet. The US president has always announced that he is calling for the end of the war through negotiation. “We hope that there will be some progress in next week’s meeting.”
