Jordan Prime Minister Jafar Hassan said in a speech at the 34th Arab Summit in Baghdad: “More than a year and a half since the start of the Gaza war in Gaza, the disaster coinues. Thousands of civilians have been sacrificed.
“Our concern is to stop this war and end the humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza,” he said.
The Jordanian prime minister emphasized the need for synergy and unity of efforts in this regard, saying that the future of the region and its security and stability depend on a fair and inclusive solution to the Palestinian issue.
He spoke of Jordan’s support for the Arab couries and poied to Jordan’s support for Syria and its security, stability, unity and sovereigy.
The Jordanian prime minister also welcomed the US decision to lift the Syrian sanctions and described Syria’s stability as stability in the region.
