Peskov: Ukraine is relucta to start a quick peace talks

A spokesman for the Kremlin stressed the need to stop sending weapons to Ukraine before the clashes before the conflict was stopped before accepting any long -term ceasefire.
“If the weapon is not stopped before the ceasefire, it will benefit Kiev,” Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, spokesman for the Kremlin, said in an ierview with ABC News. Ukraine will coinue its full mobilization and will send new forces to the fro line. “Ukraine will use this course to train new military personnel and relax its existing staff.”
Peskov poied out that Ukraine is relucta to start the negotiations quickly, and the main culprit in the failure to progress the negotiations is not Russian Preside Vladimir Putin.
“Putin does everything he can to solve the problem and reach a solution through peaceful and diplomatic tools,” a spokesman for the Kremlin coinued. “But because we have no peaceful and democratic tools available, we have to coinue military operations.”
He also added that the Kremlin hopes that US Preside Donald Trump will be able to help Moscow “a little flexibility and more political will.”
The Kremlin spokesman’s remarks come as Ukraine calls for a four -day ceasefire by rejecting the Moscow ceasefire on the occasion of Victory Day. Trump also expressed his support for the proposal on Thursday.
“The United States is ideally demanding an unconditional six -day ceasefire,” Trump wrote on the Social Social Media Network. “We hope that a ceasefire will be respected and that both couries will be held accouable for respecting these direct negotiations.”
The US preside also threatened to impose more sanctions if the ceasefire fails to comply, promising that “he would be committed to guaraeeing peace between Russia and Ukraine.”
Previous GD. Venus, US Vice Preside, during a summit of the Munich conference in Washington, DC, said Russia insists on “a set of specific privileges to end the conflict” that the Trump administration believes is “overwhelming demand”.
