Kyrgyzstan’s Odyssey is a fascinating collection of landscape photography created by Rus Khasanov, well -known artist in the field of visual and conceptual photography. Focusing on the colorful mouains of the region, the complex offers an unprecedeed and less visible view of Kyrgyzstan nature. Mouains with veins of red, orange, yellow, and purple as if they were overwhelmed by meticulous paiings, and now, in the Khasanov camera frame, they have become transcendeal works.
At the heart of this collection, there are places such as the Jeti-Couaghz Valley, or the “Seven Cows”; Red sand masses that provide a completely differe view of the mouains with their natural lines and unique bumps. In this project, Khassanov is not only seeking to record natural beauties, but also to reveal the artistic and sensory aspects of nature; He uses the mouains, like the canvas of paiing, to reflect the viewer in the relationship between color, form and natural environme.
The combination of high technical skills, precise compositions, and the use of natural light have made this set beyond a documeary project, a work on the boundary between documeary photography, conceptual art and visual paiing. Kyrgyzstan’s Odyssey not only reflects the amazing visual capacity of Ceral Asia, but also provides an artistic reflection that can make even the most unknown parts of the earth io poetic and unforgettable scenes.
