On the Canadian Election Day, US President Donald Trump has again called for Canada’s accession to the United States by posting a message on his social network, Truth Social, according to Mehr News Agency.

He urged the Canadian people to choose the next election that could reduce taxes and strengthen its military power with free US support.

Trump wrote in the message that if Canada becomes the fifty -first state of the United States, the automotive, steel, aluminum, wood, energy and other businesses could be four times without paying any tariffs or taxes.

He emphasized that then there will be no artificial boundary between the two countries and that free access would be established between the two lands.

“The United States cannot continue to spend hundreds of billions of dollars a year to subsidize Canada,” the US president added. This process will only be reasonable if Canada is recognized as one of the US states.
