Putin’s condolences message on the occasion of Pope’s death

In a message, the Russian preside condoled the death of the Catholic Church and described him as a man who had served a lot of dialogue between the Russian Orthodox Church and the Roman Catholic Church.
Russian Preside Vladimir Putin today (Monday) condoled the death of Pope Francis, the leader of the Catholic world, and noted that during his service, the Pope played an active role in the developme of dialogue between the Russian Orthodox Church and the Catholic Church of Rome.
According to the Vatican, Pope Francis, 6, died in the Vatican on Easter Day in Casa Saa Martha.
The message of condolences says: “Please accept my heartfelt condolences on the occasion of Pope Francis. “During his years of service, he played an active role in the developme of dialogue between the Russian Orthodox Church and the Catholic Church of Rome, as well as the constructive cooperation between Russia and the Vatican.”
Putin poied out that Pope Francis was known iernationally as the “loyal serva of Christian teachings, a wise religious and political leader and a consta defender of the transcende values of humanism and justice.”
“I had the opportunity to meet this promine man several times and I will always have a warm memory of him,” he said. “At this sad hour, I would like to express my sympathy and support to you and all the Catholic clerics.”
