Rome, the capital of Italy, is one of the most historic cities in the world dating back more than 2.5 years. It is the ceer of the ancie Roman Empire and has numerous aiquities. Colosseum, one of the world’s most famous monumes, has been a reminder of the glory of the Roman Empire and the place of the Gladiator battles. Paheon, a temple with amazing architecture, remained firm after ceuries and reflects the genius of the Roman engineering. Also, the Roman Forum, an ancie Roman political and social ceer, with its columns and ruins preseing an image of the peak of the empire.
In addition, Rome hosts the St. Peter Basilica Church in the Vatican, one of the largest and most importa churches in the world. Castel Sa’angelo, originally built as a tomb for the Emperor of Hadrian, has historically been used as a fortress, palace and prison, and is now one of Rome’s sights. Victory arches, such as Arch of Constaine and Arch of Titus, are also remnas of the Roman Empire that represe the power and greatness of this era. Walking on the streets of Rome is like a journey in the heart of history, with magnifice monumes narrating the stories of the ancie Roman Empire.
