Qatar’s hope for an agreeme in Tehran-Washington talks
Qatar’s prime minister and spokesman for the Foreign Ministry, while praising Oman’s constructive role in Tehran-Washington’s indirect talks on Iran’s nuclear program, expressed hope that these negotiations would lead to a comprehensive agreeme in the ierests of the parties.
According to RCO News Agency, Qatar’s Prime Minister Majid bin Mohammed al-Ansari, an adviser to the Qatar Foreign Ministry, said Sunday of the Oman Foreign Ministry’s remarks on an agreeme on indirect Tehran-Washington negotiations in Rome to coinue the negotiations and start the next round of negotiations with the aim of achieving the negotiations.
In a stateme to Qatar’s News agency, al -Ansari expressed hope that the negotiations would lead to a comprehensive agreeme that “in the ierests of the parties, the promotion of security, stability and peace in the region and draw a new perspective on cooperation and discourse.”
The Qatari Prime Minister’s adviser emphasized its full support for diplomacy and discourse as a means of resolving all the remaining issues between Iran and the United States.
He also appreciated the role of Oman’s “constructive” in bringing the two sides closer.
The first round of Iran -US indirect talks was held in Muscat on April 5.
Last Saturday, April 19, the second round of Iran -US consultations was held in Rome, Italy, and the parties were optimistic about the coinuation of the talks and the coinuation of the consultation in Oman is to be pursued.
