Exchanging; captive soldiers between Russia and Ukraine

The Russian Defense Ministry announced the exchange of prisoners between the two couries on Saturday after the release of Russian Preside Vladimir Putin’s stateme on a temporary ceasefire in Ukraine on Easter.

According to the Sputnik News agency, the Russian Defense Ministry said in a stateme: “Following the negotiations, four Russian soldiers have been released from the Kiev regime -corolled territories, and four soldiers from the Ukrainian armed forces were also handed over to Kiev.”

The ministry also emphasized, “Russia has released a wounded Ukrainian forces for four Russian soldiers who needed urge assistance.”

The Russian Defense Ministry noted that the exchange of captives was carried out with the UAE’s efforts and mediation.

The Kremlin said in a stateme that the Russian Preside Valeri Gramesov, the Chief of Staff of the Russian Armed Forces, received a report on the situation in the Ukrainian war and announced that the Russian side would take all its military action from 9:00 pm local time on April 6 to April 1.

The Russian Defense Ministry said of Putin’s order to establish a temporary ceasefire on Easter, “This order will be followed by Russian forces if it is followed by Ukrainian forces.”
