This post is a very short travelogue from our last trip to Van Turk
The story began on a winter morning, when a message came from my friend:
“Let’s go to a van we buy both and fun!”
Honestly, I thought it was joking, but two days later, we were sitting in a 4 -person van, on the Razi border; A trip that started with one of the best van tours.
Our route started in Tabriz and we entered the tub almost 2 hours later. A small city that, unlike my imagination, was both clean and modern. Most importantly, it was a sense of security that, despite the different language, was never lost. His people are well -collided and his stores are full of discounts. If anyone has ever traveled with a One Tour, I think it has lost some of the international shopping experience.
A room with a window facing the snowy mountains
To stay, with a tour, the Elite World Van Hotel reservation was done; One of the 5 star hotels in the city center. When I entered the room, the first thing that caught my attention was a large window with the facade of snow -covered mountains. I felt like I lived in the postcard.
According to Booking site surveys, this Van Hotel is one of the most popular among Iranian travelers, especially due to the low distance to shopping malls and high quality of breakfast.
Their breakfast was a colorful buffet; Black and green olives, local cheeses, warm bread, and Turkish coffee. The moment I tasted the coffee, it was as if I was worth the whole tour.
Sightseeing in the city of Van; Somewhere beyond buying
Contrary to my initial imagination, one is not just a shopping city. One of the most memorable parts of the trip was to visit the Van Castle. In a foggy age of winter, when we climbed the rocky stairs with my friends, the sound of the wind was combined with the sound of Azan. We stood on the wall and the lake’s view; Blue, quiet, sad and breathtaking.
The castle has been introduced as one of the top 5 attractions in eastern Türkiye, and I think anyone who goes to Tour Van should not lose this particular experience.
When the auctions are really auction
On the second morning, we went straight to the Republican Street; Where both steps are a brand clothing store, from LC Waikiki to Koton and Defacto. In one of the stores I saw a winter coat with a 5 % off, the final price? ۱۰۰۰ Lira! It was here that I understood why the Iranians love traveling to Van and staying at the Van Hotel.
According to Lonely Planet, Van is a cost -effective purchase for Iranian tourists, especially in the January and August auction season.

A good -natured and hassle -free journey
Our path was with the Golgasht Agency; From the moment we got on the minibus until we returned to the border, everything went well. The transfer went off and was delayed, the driver was familiar with the route and was perfectly in line with the border conditions. Van Hotel Reservation was exactly as it was said, without the slightest change in the room or service. The urban patrol program was too clever; As we had time to buy, we were able to see the sights like the Castle of Van and the island of Aktamar. I really felt that everything was in control of the hassle, and that was a great score for me who was not very comfortable with group trips.

If I want to describe this trip with a sentence:
“Van was the same city with a short distance from Iran, but its experience beyond the borders.”
For me, this trip was not just a shopping or staying in a stylish Van Hotel, it was a small, delicate escape from everyday, just in the heart of the winter. If it comes again, I will no doubt try another one of the tours, this time maybe in the spring.
