French Foreign Minister said in response to Algeria’s move against diplomats that the dismissal of four of them from the Algerian territory is regrettable.

He added: “This Algerian action will not remain unanswered and has consequences.” If Algeria seeks to exacerbate tensions, we will respond strongly to this coury.

Yesterday, Figaro reported that Algerian officials had decided to expel five members of the French embassy in the coury.

According to the report, the employees have 4 hours to leave Algeria. Algeria is an unprecedeed move since year 4.

The report said the move is a reaction to the hostile remarks of the French Ierior Minister against Algeria.

Algeria strongly protested on Paris’s decision to arrest one of his consulate staff on Saturday. The incide was in line with the investigation io the kidnapping of Amir Boucharis.
