Trump extended Russian sanctions
The US preside has extended sanctions imposed by the former US preside against Russia for another year.
US Preside Donald Trump issued an executive order on Saturday evening to extend sanctions imposed by former US Preside Joe Biden against Russia for another year.
According to Ukrainian sources, Biden’s initial order was issued on April 7. According to the order, Washington is allowed to boycott individuals and institutions that are considered a threat to foreign policy, national security and US economy because of the destructive activities of the Russian governme.
According to Trump’s executive order, Biden’s initial order will be extended for another year. In this regard, despite Moscow and Washington’s efforts to normalize its relations, US sanctions against Russia will remain and the blocking of Russian assets will be extended.
In rece days, the Trump administration has boycotted some Russian individuals and institutions for cooperating with Ansarullah.
On the other hand, Trump’s special envoy Steve Witekaf yesterday had a few hours with Vladimir Putin.
The Kremlin said in a stateme: The Russian preside met with US Preside Special Envoy Steve Witakaf. The meeting was dedicated to the resolution aspects of the Ukrainian issue.
