European Security Test; ۱۰ Coury seeking a joi force for Ukraine

Military commanders from about five couries are due to come together today (Thursday) at the NATO headquarters to discuss the formation of a future for Ukraine.
Britain and France are holding a meeting today with the Ministers of Defense of about 5 couries to carry out plans to send troops to Ukraine to oversee any future peace agreeme with Russia, according to ISNA.
The meeting will be held at the NATO headquarters – the first meeting between the defense ministers of the so -called “Coalition of Election” – after the visit of senior British and French military officers to Kiev last week.
At the meeting, the details of the agreeme that had been reached at a previous meeting between leaders are expected to be reviewed and completed.
Like other meetings of the coalition, the United States will not attend the meeting, but the success of the coalition operations depends on US support through the Air Force or other military assistance.
However, the Trump administration has made no public commitme to provide such support.
In the midst of this uncertain situation and US warnings that Europe must take care of its security and Ukraine, it is regarded as the first test to measure the European coine’s will to defend itself and its ierests.
The composition of the force depends on the type of peace agreeme, but it is unlikely that it will be deployed on the Ukrainian and Russian border. The force will probably be deployed outside Ukraine, perhaps even outside of Ukraine, and will act to couer any Russian attack.
Creating a great force that has an effective deterrence is a remarkable challenge for couries that have reduced their army after the Cold War but are now reinforced.
British officials have spoken of the possibility of sending 3,000 to 6,000 troops.
Couries also have doubts about dispatching force without US support, according to the Associated Press.
Ukrainian governme officials and military analysts have said Russian forces are preparing to launch a new military attack in the coming weeks to increase the pressure on Kiev and strengthen the Kremlin’s negotiation stance in ceasefire conversations.
Also on Friday, represeatives from about 5 couries come together in NATO to increase military support for Ukraine. The meeting will be chaired by Britain and Germany. US Secretary of Defense Pete Hegst is not expected to attend the meeting.
