Media sources reported the Saudi and US defense ministers telephone consultations about the situation in the region and strengthening military cooperation between the two couries.
Defense Minister Khaled bin Salman bin Abdulaziz received a phone call from his US couerpart Pete Hegst, ISNA reported.
According to the report, in this call, two parties examined bilateral relations and the developme of defense cooperation between Riyadh and Washington.
The Saudi and US defense ministers also explored the latest regional developmes and joi efforts to support security and stability at the regional and world level.
Also during this call, the various issues that were common to the two sides were raised and the exchanges of them were raised.
This telephone conversation has been aimed at strengthening defense and security coordination between the two couries.
