According to RCO News Agency, five members of the US House of Represeatives have launched an investigation io the possibility of conflict between NASA and Ilan Musk, CEO of SpaceX and the head of the US Governme Productivity Departme.
Maxwell Alejandro Frost and Jerry Kanouli, two members of the US House of Represeatives, have se a letter to NASA’s senior legal adviser, calling for information about the organization’s cooperation with SpaceX Space Company and the role of mask in governme manageme.
“In NASA, where Mr. Musk has so far benefited from large coracts and is likely to receive more coracts, his refusal to dismiss the ierests of ierests as well as direct corol over the decision -making will directly benefit from his businesses,” the letter said.
The delegates have called on NASA to ensure that the mask does not use its position for personal and commercial ierests and also explains what measures have been taken to preve him from accessing confideial information that could create an unfair competitive advaage.
The study began as SpaceX has become one of NASA’s main coractors in rece years and has played a ceral role in the organization’s space programs.
