Russian Preside Vladimir Putin announced plans to meet his Chinese couerpart Shi Jinping in May, according to the Mehr News Agency. These conversations are aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation within the Brix and Shanghai Cooperation Organization.

Belarus also announced his readiness to cooperate in three areas with Brix. Officials with Russia discussed the use of the new Developme Bank mechanisms to impleme investme projects.
