According to the Vice Preside of Science, Technology and Economics, the National Science Foundation of Iran is holding the teh edition of Iran’s scieific programs with the aim of ideifying and supporting promine researchers in the summer of 2008.
The program, which began in the Vice Preside of Science, Technology and Economics of the Presideial Base, has been transferred to the National Science Foundation of Iran last year. The purpose of the program is to support and appreciate faculty members and scieists who have been involved in publishing the results of magnifice scieific research in prestigious journals around the world.
To eer the program, a member of the faculty must have high quality works in groups A, B, C and D. The division of journals A to D is done as in the past, which is visible through the link. If the researcher has a work in publications A, B and C and two works in Group D journals, it eers the evaluation process.
The selection of Iranian scieific programs is based on scieific indicators and through the Web of Science database. Also, no judgmes and judgmes of individuals have been made, and solely on the basis of the coury’s scieific scieific program style, information is collected from bases. The works, however, are evaluated for not being valid.
Journals in Group A, B, C and D in rece years as part of the coury’s scieific program program are from various disciplines.
Basic sciences that play a key role in the scieific developme of the world will also have a special place in this program; However, the study of past periods shows that the program covers a wide range of science disciplines from medical science to technical and engineering. The support of this program includes research activities, the possibility of attracting a postgraduate researcher, and supporting scieific travel in order to develop research activities.
Also, the National Iranian Science Foundation is trying to expand the support of the program by diversifying the disciplines and the developme of related journals. Long -term research designs for researchers who have been selected in several periods are also ongoing programs.
