Erdogan’s readiness to host Ukrainian peace talks in coact with Putin

The Turkish preside announced his readiness to host Ukrainian peace talks with his Russian couerpart.
Turkish Preside Recep Tayyip Erdogan today (Friday) discussed his Russian couerpart Vladimir Putin on bilateral relations and regional and global issues.
“Recep Tayyip Erdogan had a telephone conversation with Vladimir Putin,” the Turkish presideial office said. “The bilateral relations between Türkiye and Russia as well as regional and iernational issues were discussed.”
According to the report, four presides also examined the situation in Ukraine, and Erdogan said Ankara is ready to host Ukrainian peace talks.
“Preside Erdogan reiterated that measures to ensure the security of the Black Sea trade will help the peace process, and Turkey will coinue its efforts to preve the Black Sea from becoming a stressful area,” the stateme said.
The Turkish preside said in a conversation that Ankara and Moscow’s cooperation is necessary to solve the region’s problems, and Türkiye is pursuing the curre process to end the Ukrainian war. Ankara is ready for any support – including the organization of peace talks – to ensure fair and sustainable peace.
Erdogan also emphasized the importance of joi cooperation between Türkiye and Russia to ensure stability in Syria. “Türkiye -Russia cooperation is importa to achieve sustainable peace and stability based on Syrian territorial iegrity,” he said. “We can work together to stop the factors that cause ethnic and sectarian discrimination and lift the sanctions completely.”
“It is imperative for Syria to stabilize the coury no longer a favorable space for the growth of terrorist organizations,” the stateme quoted the Turkish preside as saying.
Putin and Erdogan spoke about the results of rece Russian and US officials in Saudi Arabia, and the Russian preside recalled Kiev’s coinued efforts to attack Russian energy infrastructure, Sputnik reported.
