NASA says the removal of the phrase “the first woman and the color of the rainbow” from the writings on Artemis’ mission does not indicate the change of crew of this lunar mission.

Donald Trump signed a set of executive orders within a few days after his second presidency and urged federal budget organizations to act in various ways, one of which was in fact ordering offices and ending Deia efforts.
NASA’s ierim manager Janet Petro subsequely se a note to NASA employees, saying that Deia programs had divided Americans by race, wasted taxpayers’ dollars, and led to shameful discrimination.

NASA has also significaly reduced its workforce as part of the Trump administration’s efforts to reduce federal spending, and it is unclear how much NASA’s budget or labor can be reduced.
