Pentagon investigations into the seam of military confidential information to mask
The Pentagon has launched an investigation to track the source of alleged information following criticizing US billionaires for the publication of “inaccurate information” on military relations.
According to RCO News Agency, despite US President Donald Trump and his defense minister Pete Hegst insisting that military secrets are not in the hands of prominent US billionaire Ilan Musk, who is now a member of the Trump cabinet, the Pentagon has launched an investigation into the origin of intelligence.
According to Bloomberg News, the investigation began after Joe Casper, the chief of the Joint Staff of the Department of Defense, called for investigations into unauthorized disclosure of sensitive national security details. Casper also called for the referral of those responsible for the prosecution of the incident.
He earlier in a note on Friday announced the imminent launch of the investigation, saying that the results would be quickly provided to the Secretary of Defense in the form of a report.
According to Kasper, the report includes complete records of disclosing unauthorized information at the Ministry of Defense and recommendations to improve such efforts.
Ilan Musk, whose companies have billions of defensive contracts, visited the Pentagon on Friday to discuss costs and innovation.
However, the controversy began even before his arrival at the Defense Ministry, and the New York Times reported that he would receive extraordinary justification for US military strategies if possible with China.
The American newspaper also raised concerns about mask access to classified information, citing numerous sources, given its extensive business relationships and previous statements about Beijing, including Taiwan, an integral part of China.
But in spite of these reports, President Trump and his defense minister have rejected any plans to grant such high -level information access to the mask.
In a message on the X -Social Network, Mask called for legal action against the Pentagon officials, which he said has leaked misleading information to the media.
