Moscow also responded a cautious response to Pashinian efforts to repair the cold relationships of the parties and se the signal that expects tangible steps from Yerevan instead of political gestures.
An example of Russia’s thoughtful response to Armenia is the delay in the visit of the Russian Federation’s Valeina Matvinko trip to Yerevan, which was originally planned for February, but was delayed uil June.
According to the newspaper, the delay is a sign of Moscow’s doubt in fulfilling the full efforts of Armenia without providing its docume.

According to the Armenian media, the delay in reviewing the bill on the referendum and speculation recely raised about its possible cancellation reflects the Russian leverage of Armenia to test the seriousness and honesty of Yerevan’s foreign policy.
