Putin Assistant: European leaders standing as the Lord of Ram
The Russian president’s assistant likened EU leaders to the most prominent and obedients.
According to RCO News Agency, Yuri Oshakov, an assistant to Foreign Policy by Vladimir Putin, repeated the Russian leader’s statements about the likeness of European leaders to puppies, pointing to a rapid change in their position in support of American pressure on the ceasefire in the Ukrainian war.
Last month, Putin emphasized that European politicians who “happily conducting any command led by Biden by the President of Washington” will now adapt to US policy changes soon during the Trump era.
The Russian president, referring to Trump’s “personality and stubbornness”, said that they would all “stand at the foot of the master and shake their tail slowly.”
In an interview with Russian Network correspondent Paul Zarubin, Oshakov was asked to comment on the change in the recent position of European leaders in supporting the US -proposed ceasefire after years of continuous military assistance to Kiev.
According to Rasha Todi, the Moscow presidential assistant said, “Everything is exactly as Putin was clearly drawn.”
“He (Putin) described it as that they would be like rummy and tutorials and obedient dogs,” Oshakov said. “It’s almost the same thing happening.”
Following the virtual meeting of European leaders on Friday, France and the United Kingdom urged Russia to accept the four -day ceasefire that Ukraine and the United States had agreed in bilateral talks in Saudi Arabia last week.
French President Emmanuel Macron wrote on the X -Social Network: “Russia must now accept this ceasefire agreement.”
British Foreign Minister David Lami told reporters that Moscow should accept the ceasefire without any precondition. “Ukraine has determined its position,” he said. “It is now Russian’s turn to accept it.”
Former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev rejected the ultimatum and said to Britain and David Lami in a sharp tone that “the idea was returned exactly where it came from – albeit diplomatic.”
The United States and its allies in Europe, after the Ukrainian clash in year 6, cut off their diplomatic relations with Russia and pledged to support Kiev as much as possible.
Moscow has long described the conflict as a Western proxy war against Russia. Trump has repeatedly announced during his campaign that he plans to reduce the conflict through diplomacy. Relations between Washington and Moscow have begun to improve after a phone call between Putin and Trump, which was followed by high -level negotiations in Riyadh last month.
Putin said last month that European leaders who cut off their relationships with Moscow could re -establish this relationship at any time, but insisted that they were “heavily involved in the Kiev regime” and that retreat would be “very difficult or almost impossible for them without losing honor.
