Hamas: We adhere to the existing ceasefire agreeme – Mehr News Agency | Iranian and world news

According to RCO News Agency quoting Algeria, Hazem Qasim, a spokesman for the Hamas moveme, said in response to media reports about efforts to temporarily extend the ceasefire in Gaza, the group said the group was committed to the existing agreeme.
“We adhere to what has been agreed and move towards the second phase of the agreeme,” Qassim said.
The stateme comes as Zionist media reports indicate that the United States is seeking to extend the first phase of the ceasefire agreeme as part of a temporary deal in which more Zionist prisoners are released.
However, Qassim emphasized that Hamas was seeking the permane end of the war and the complete withdrawal of Israel from Gaza. Israel has not fulfilled the humanitarian commitmes of the ceasefire agreeme.
“We do not wa to go back to war, but if the occupation regime resumes its aggression, we will have no choice but to defend our people,” said a spokesman for Hamas.
These statemes indicate a disagreeme between the parties about the future of the ceasefire. While Israel and the United States are seeking a temporary extension of the ceasefire and the release of captives, Hamas calls for a permane end to the clashes and the complete withdrawal of Zionist troops from Gaza.
Curre talks in Doha, the capital of Qatar, are being held with the mediation of Egypt and Qatar. These negotiations are trying to find a sustainable solution to the Gaza crisis, but so far there has been no significa progress.
