Bolton: Trump’s approach to Russia “represes weakness”

The former US national security adviser has strongly criticized Donald Trump’s approach to Russia’s proximity and called it a “showing weakness”.
According to RCO News Agency, after US Preside Donald Trump, shortly after the start of his second term, he had a long -term telephone conversation with Russian Preside Vladimir Putin and decided to open talks between negotiators in the city of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
According to Ierfax News Agency, Bolton posted a post on the X -Social Network that Trump is directly against the philosophy of former US Preside Ronald Reagan to adhere to the principle of “peace from the position of power”.
“The Preside has given the Kremlin another concession,” Bolton said. “This does not represe power but weakness.”
The former US national security adviser poied out that the US security ierests in Europe are of great importance and much more importa than just the issue of an annual report.
Bolton, however, in line with Trump urged all US allies, including the United States, to increase their defense costs, as this is critical to ensuring stability and security in Europe.
Meanwhile, Trump reportedly expressed dissatisfaction with Russia’s attacks on Ukraine during US efforts to mediate peace talks between the two couries and threaten the imposition of new ai -Russian sanctions if the attacks were not stopped.
In an ierview, John Bolton described Trump’s threat as “completely hollow”.
He said he was not affected by Trump’s threat to impose further sanctions against Russia and acknowledged, “Russia has been able to bypass these sanctions, especially financial sanctions.”
