At the meeting of the Council, Dr. Ali Akbar Salehi was iroduced as the new head of the Iranian Studies Foundation, according to the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution.
Yesterday evening, a meeting of the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution was chaired by Dr. Massoud Mediian, the Preside, with the presence of Hojjatoleslam Gholamhossein Mohseni Ejei, the head of the judiciary and other members of the council.
Hojjatoleslam Khosropanah, secretary of the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution, said: “In this meeting, Dr. Salehi will be iroduced as the new head of the Iranian Studies Foundation and his presidency will be issued by the Preside.
Hojjatoleslam Khosropanah added: “Dr. Salehi, with a brillia history in the fields of scieific and executive, will be responsible for leading this importa cultural foundation.
Prior to this, the foundation was headed by Dr. Mohammad Hossein Rajabi Davani.
Ali Akbar Salehi served as Foreign Minister in the 10th governme during the period of February to August 2008. He was also head of the Atomic Energy Organization in two governmes.
Dr. Salehi also served as the Vice Preside of Research and Vice Preside of the Iranian Academy of Sciences since September.
It should be noted that Dr. Rajabi Davani’s inauguration and Dr. Salehi’s referendum will be held at the Iranian Studies Foundation in the coming days.
